Willoughby City Council: What your candidates said

On Sydney’s north shore, Willoughby City Council has 12 councillors and a popularly elected mayor.

There are four wards, made up of three councillors each.

The Sydney Morning Herald sent questions to each of the 68 candidates up for election at Willoughby City Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if they are elected. Of those, 31 responded.

Their responses have been lightly edited for clarity.

We asked candidates where they stood on key policy issues they’re likely to vote on while in office, and what they thought about the current state of council services. Click the below buttons to see the results.
