In Sydney’s south, Sutherland Shire Council has 15 councillors.
The Sydney Morning Herald sent questions to each of the 66 candidates up for election at Sutherland Shire Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if they are elected. Of those, 22 responded.
Their responses have been lightly edited for clarity.
