Mosman Council: What your candidates said

On Sydney’s north shore, Mosman Council is one of the smaller local government areas, with about 29,000 residents.

It is currently led by mayor Carolyn Corrigan, of the Serving Mosman Party. But Serving Mosman is also being challenged by the Make Mosman Better ticket, led by Roy Bendall.

The Sydney Morning Herald sent questions to each of the 24 candidates up for election at Mosman Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if they are elected. Of those, nine responded.

Their responses have been lightly edited for clarity.

We asked candidates where they stood on key policy issues they’re likely to vote on while in office, and what they thought about the current state of council services. Click the below buttons to see the results.
